A site-specific performance in which echolocation devices are used to locate the approximate physical center of Hangar B (a historical aircraft warehouse) to collect three-dimensional data and locate the approximate physical center of a space, deepening understanding of acoustical perception, and to revealing the elements of environmental space through non-visual means. Acoustic location is the art and science of using sound to determine the distance and direction of something. Location can be done actively or passively, and can take place in gases (the atmosphere), liquids (water), and solids (the earth’s core). The dance took place on a World War I Aircraft: Douglas C-47 (DC3).
